Transparent pricing

Honest Toronto Invisalign pricing in 2026.

Most Invisalign cases at our clinic land between $4,200 and $6,500 -- the range depends on case complexity, treatment length, and the type of aligners used. Simple cases sometimes finish under $4,000.

We won't quote you a price without examining your case. Online "starting at" prices in Toronto are usually for the smallest possible case (single arch, very mild correction) and rarely match what you actually need.

What is included in our quote:

  • All Invisalign aligners and refinement aligners (most clinics charge extra)
  • All in-clinic appointments and digital scans
  • One set of Vivera retainers after treatment

Most insurance plans cover $1,500 to $2,500 of Invisalign treatment. We verify your coverage for free, before you commit -- usually takes 10 minutes. Bring your insurance card to your scan.

Worried about insurance?

We work with all major Canadian dental insurers -- SunLife, Manulife, Canada Life, Green Shield, Equitable, Pacific Blue Cross, RBC, and others.

Most plans include orthodontic benefits in their adult dental coverage -- you may have $1,500 to $3,000 already available that you didn't know about.

Bring your insurance card or policy number to your free iTero scan. We will check your coverage on the spot, in front of you, before you commit to anything.

We do not bill insurance for Invisalign treatment up front (Invisalign is patient-pay then patient-reimbursed by most plans), but we provide all the paperwork your insurer needs.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

How much does Invisalign cost in Toronto?

Most cases at The Village Dentist land between $4,200 and $6,500. The range depends on case complexity, the number of aligners required, and treatment length. Simple single-arch cases sometimes finish under $4,000. We will not quote you a price until Dr. Kaur has examined your bite in person -- online "starting at" prices rarely match what you actually need.

What is a free iTero scan and why does it matter?

The iTero Element is a chairside 3D scanner that maps your teeth in minutes -- no impressions, no goop. The key benefit for you: before you spend a dollar, you see a simulation of what your smile could look like after treatment. Dr. Kaur uses the scan to plan your case and give you an honest answer about whether Invisalign is right for your bite.

How long does Invisalign treatment take?

It depends on your case. Mild crowding or spacing issues often resolve in 6 to 12 months. More complex bite corrections can take 18 to 24 months. Dr. Kaur will give you a realistic timeline after your scan -- not an optimistic sales estimate.

Does my insurance cover Invisalign?

Many Canadian dental plans include adult orthodontic benefits that cover $1,500 to $3,000 of Invisalign treatment. We verify your coverage at your free scan -- bring your insurance card or policy number. We provide all the paperwork your insurer needs for reimbursement (Invisalign is typically patient-pay then patient-reimbursed, not direct-billed).

Will I see the same doctor at every visit?

Yes. Dr. Kaur is the only doctor at The Village Dentist. She has been at 750 Annette Street since 2005. You will see the same person who planned your case at every check-in. This is not a corporate chain that rotates staff.

Is Invisalign as effective as traditional braces?

For the cases it is designed for -- mild to moderate crowding, spacing, and certain bite issues -- Invisalign achieves comparable results to traditional braces. Some complex bite problems still require braces or a combination approach. Dr. Kaur will tell you honestly which category your case falls into.

What happens if I lose or break an aligner?

Contact us immediately. Depending on where you are in treatment, Dr. Kaur will either have you move to the next aligner or order a replacement. Our quote includes refinement aligners -- most adjustment sets are covered.

Do I have to wear the aligners all day?

Invisalign aligners need to be worn 20 to 22 hours per day for treatment to stay on schedule. You remove them to eat, drink anything other than water, and to brush and floss. Most patients adapt within one to two weeks.

Does Invisalign hurt?

Some patients experience pressure or mild discomfort for the first day or two after switching to a new set of aligners. This is normal -- it means the aligners are working. The discomfort is typically much less than traditional braces and resolves quickly.

Can adults get Invisalign or is it just for teenagers?

Invisalign is highly effective for adults. In fact, the majority of Dr. Kaur's 1,500+ Invisalign cases have been adults -- professionals, parents, and patients in their 30s, 40s, and 50s who want straighter teeth without the look of traditional metal braces.

What is the difference between Invisalign and cheaper clear aligner brands?

Invisalign is prescribed and supervised by a licensed dentist who monitors your progress every 6 to 8 weeks. DTC (direct-to-consumer) aligner brands (Byte, SmileDirectClub, Candid) have no in-person exam, no X-rays, and no clinical oversight. Dental alignment affects your bite, jaw, and long-term tooth health -- that requires a real dentist, not an app.

What happens after Invisalign treatment ends?

After your last aligner set, Dr. Kaur will fit you with retainers to hold your new smile in place. Our quote includes one set of Vivera retainers (Invisalign's own brand -- the same material as aligners). Most patients wear retainers at night indefinitely to maintain their results.
